Where to Stay on Mykonos.
When choosing accommodation on Mykonos, initially the choice is quite simple, whether to stay in Mykonos Town or to stay near one of the many fantastic beaches. The decision usually rests upon if you prefer to be close to the nightlife that Mykonos is so famous for and then travel to the beach during the day. Or vice versa.
If you prefer something more peaceful, it may be best to stay near the beach. The most popular beach area for hotels is Platis Yialos followed by Agios Ioannis, Megali Ammos, Ornos and Agios Stefanos.
The rates for hotels in Mykonos can vary greatly from around 35 Euros per night for a double room at one of the budget C' class hotels in low season to over 1000 Euros per night for deluxe accommodation in high season
